Line-item labels

Relabel a line and every figure follows

How it works

How labels work

Debt and flows
Nine debt instruments, from MCAs and bank loans to leases, BNPL and factoring, and fifteen money flows, from processor deposits and wires to transfers, fees, NSFs and stop payments.
More than one
A transaction can carry several labels, such as a wire that is also an owner deposit.
Bulk relabel
Select one row or hundreds and change their labels in one step.
Your call wins
A label you set always overrides the automatic one. Changing whether a transaction counts as debt or revenue asks for a reason.
Remember a phrase
Save the descriptor phrase and future transactions that match it get the same label.
Recalculation
True revenue, positions, debt-to-revenue and cash flow update from the new labels.

FAQ

Common questions

Which deposits count as revenue?

Every deposit counts unless it carries a label that rules it out: debt proceeds, transfers, owner or related-party money, NSFs, reversals or bank interest.

Are deposits and debits both labelled?

Yes. A funding deposit carries the same debt label as the funder's pulls, which is how a position finds the deposit that opened it.

Can I undo a relabel?

Change the label back and every figure recalculates from it.
