FAQ

Accountant questions

Which files can I upload?

PDF, CSV and Excel statements from any bank, up to 20 pages and 5 MB a file, in US dollars or pounds sterling.

How is a statement checked?

Its lines are added up from the printed opening balance and compared with the printed closing balance. A statement that ties out shows as reconciling, one that doesn't is marked, and one without printed balances says so.

What if a statement doesn't reconcile?

It's marked as not reconciling, so you see it before you rely on the figures. Every line keeps the page it came from, so you can check it against the PDF.

What's in the export?

The CSV has every transaction with its date, description, counterparty, debit, credit, balance, labels, account, file and page. The Excel workbook adds a summary and month-by-month figures.

Does it connect to QuickBooks or Xero?

No. Download the CSV or Excel file and bring it into your own software.

Who can see my clients' statements?

Only members of your organization. Statements are encrypted in transit and at rest and never used to train AI models.
